Why did you pick this product vs others?:Fit and colors are perfect. True to size. Washes well, no pilling. Feminine with shaped waste, not boxy.

Soft, good quality, but pink Lg. and burgundy Med. ran small for the size
This size large pink soft fleece (100% polyester) jacket is small on me, but I decided to keep it. I’m approx. 5′ 1″, 38 C, currently weigh 146 lbs., & have broad shoulders, slender arms, and excess weight in my stomach. I’d already bought size large this jacket in light heather grey, aqua blue, and mini buffalo plaid, all of which fit well. I also have a medium in burgundy (which is too small for a women’s medium), and this pink one, which is only a little bigger than that one. Because of the sizing inconsistency I am rating this otherwise 5-star jacket with 4 stars. If purchasing the pink or burgundy, you might consider going up one size. This pretty, pink jacket is so light that it can serve as a neutral color. The aqua jacket is also pretty, but with a bright, more intense color. These jackets, made in Vietnam, are sewn well, are soft, have good strong zippers, and nice pockets. I’ve washed the heather gray one several times (inside out on a short wash), put in dryer for 3 to 4 minutes max, and then hung it to finish drying. It came out fine. These (Amazon Essentials) are well-made jackets.

Better than Columbia. Columbia fleece always gets so ratty looking but these hold up. Also like that there’s no brand plastered on it. Has 4 pockets if you count the two inside.I put it through the wash and dryer on normal cycles with the rest of my clothes.

Favorite Fleece Jacket!
I have been in love with the Amazon Essentials Fleece Jackets for years! I recently started wearing more warm fall tones and this golden tan jacket is the best color ever! Plus it is so extremely comfortable, it keeps me warm but not overheated, and the fit allows me to wear a heavier sweater under it or it still looks nice and semi form fitting with just a tank top. I love the bottom hem because it doesn’t flare outwards, so it still looks nice on my more slender frame (a lot of jackets that flare out end up looking so big and awkward on me). The cuffs on the sleeves are so nice! They are a bit thinner so they don’t feel uncomfortable with a watch, bracelets, or gloves on and I can push them up with ease and not have an indent from big cuffs! I normally despise driving in any kind of jacket but this is super comfortable so I can actually wear it in the car or while sitting for an appointment or whatever. It gives you a lot of flexibility and mobility so it works great for hiking too. And it has held up well- despite wearing a heavy hiking backpack there is no pilling on the sleeves! I’m wearing an xs in the photos but I also have it in a small so I can wear it over multiple heavy bulky layers and it really doesn’t look too big on me because of that bottom hem and the sleeves! I have this jacket in numerous colors! My black one I bought several years ago and wore all the time still looks really good and almost brand new (and I am not at all easy or gentle with my coats)! The great thing about the fleece is it is breathable so it’s not too heavy for 50°-60° days when worn over a tank top but it blocks enough wind that when layered over even a light thermal it really helps keep you warm. I’ve worn it over a heavy thermal and a zip up athletic jacket in mid 30 degree days while hiking and I actually unzipped it all the way from time to time because it helped keep me so warm. Highly recommend and you can’t beat the price point- it’s better than some really expensive brands. Bonus, my husband loves the men’s version as much as I love the women’s!

This fleece is just OK. It’s not nearly so good as those by Lands End, Eddie Bauer or L.L. Bean. The sizing was too slim. I prefer a little more generous fit to accommodate clothing underneath. The color and quality of the fleece is fine.

The items responds to the description except…the sizing is wrong. I ordered one size up, based on other’s advice. I look for a more hugged fit, but it was too large. I recommend you order true to size, if you look for the same.
