Customers say
Customers find these shoes extremely comfortable, feeling like slippers, and appreciate their lightweight design and suitability for both dressy and casual occasions. Customers praise their quality, with one noting they hold up well even on cobblestones, and they are particularly appreciated for all-day wear. The fit and arch support receive mixed feedback – while some find them well-fitting and supportive, others report they are too narrow and lack arch support.

Mmmmm so comfortable!
I finally decided it was not a good idea to constantly walk around my house barefoot every day all day. Can’t be good for my bones, joints and ligaments. Week 11 working from home, I finally searched for some comfortable slip on shoes that were not “slippers” but did not require socks and laces. Putting on socks and lacing my running shoes only made my dogs believe we were going for another walk – and I wanted to be quick and comfortable. However, it made no sense to spend money on something that wasn’t comfortable – or else I would not put them on.After thinking through what would be the best use of my time and money – and reading the reviews – I purchased these shoes. When they arrived, I took them out of the box and simply enjoyed how they looked. Very nice and soft and smooth. Substantial sole. But they “looked” like they would be narrow. Nope – when I put them on they were nice and snug but not too snug. They feel incredibly amazing. No need for socks (unless you have feet that sweat quite a bit I guess) and quite supportive. The arch support is subtle but definitely there. I can tell the longer I wear them, the more they will conform to my feet. I can’t really tell they are even on my feet until I wiggle my toes. LOLI don’t believe an orthotic would fit inside these shoes unless you pull out the existing insole. It does appear to be removable. The shoe is very lightweight. The sole is a little “thick” for my taste but that is purely looks. Once I put the shoes on and looked at the shoes from various angles…I believe they are perfect all around. I purchased the tan color as that was the only color available for my huge size 11 feet but I absolutely love the color.I can’t think of enough nice things to say about these shoes. I believe they would hold up well to a lot of walking and a lot of standing. I will certainly be wearing these when we go back to the office and they are no longer my “house shoes”.So glad I purchased these shoes!

Omg… I’m in heaven! First comfortable, stylish shoe this broken body has had in 10 years!!
I have Multiple Sclerosis and am a large 6ft tall woman. I haven’t had a decent pair of shoes in years and am mostly homebound. I dreaded the doctors office visits even because the only pair of shoes I have were worn and comfortable anymore and my feet hurt. I trip and fall a lot with this disease and have searched for years for a great supportive shoe and sole that did not look like an orthopedic shoe. I was overjoyed with excitement when I saw these shoes still in the box. They remind me so much of my 1960’s-1970’s years of great quality brown leather shoes. Nothing orthopedic about these puppies! Such a supportive and comfy soul and the shoe part fits like a glove, holds my foot well, makes me feel secure and the bits of elastic around the top edges helps me put them on so much. The design is so perfect in style and fit. They seriously make me feel young again, like those great brown leather shoes from my “hippy” years growing up. Modern but retro! Great quality shoes at an incredibly wonderful price! I have never volunteered before, but Clarke’s.. I would write a testimonial for these shoes and will definitely share with the thousands of contacts I have who have multiple sclerosis as well as those who don’t. I so want the black ones too but due to my extreme medical costs can not afford. Hopefully you will continue to make this shoe and I can get the black ones one day. Then I could have a pair to wear at home and when I go to the doctor. Please don’t stop making or selling these before I can afford another pair. I’ve actually been crying tears of joy over how happy I am to finally have the first comfortable shoe in over 10 years. Thank you Clarke’s!!!Dear Amazon seller, very dirty pool to jack up the price overnight by almost $20 bucks! Very nasty way to handle supply and demand and will make me hesitant to ever review anything on Amazon again. Way to ruin a great experience and prevent me from buying that second pair today that was already in my cart at $31 and today its up to & 49! Very dirty way to do business and treat customers

The Heel Slips!! Comfortable, though.
I am a 8.5W and that is what I tried. They have great cushioning, I love these shoes for that, though my heel slips when I walk. The length feels good for all intensive purposes, though it still slips. Unfortunate, as I really liked these otherwise. I tried the 8W, the toe box was a little tighter (too tight to keep), the length was good, though it still slipped at the heel whilst walking! Really unfortunate, as they are really comfortable and don’t look half bad!

Be careful.
I actually had this same shoe years ago. I wore them until they were torn on the outside and they were a great shoe. I have had knee replacement so I can’t just wear any shoe. When I saw these again, I just had to try. They do feel good once I get them on but I had a terrible time with the right shoe. Not sure if my right foot is larger or what but the back of the shoe is not stiff so combine that with the fact there is no tie or other thing to open the shoe up and it was hard to get it on. I finally ordered a shoe horn and was able to get the shoe on and I hope it will stretch some. Once I got it on, it was comfortable . I don’t think I have wide feet but maybe I should have gone up a 1/2 size or gone with wide, not sure but it does feel good once you get it on.

I had a pair of the Sillian Paz mules slipons. Have been wearing them for well over a year. Saw the loafer on Amazon, at an amazing price, so decided to try them. The fit is true to size. When I first opened the box, they did not look like a “wide” shoe, but after slipping my feet in they were comfortable, did not feel restricting at all. The sole is a bit “softer” than the mules version and I may replace the ortholite insert for something with a bit more structure, but all in all a great, comfy shoe with no “break in” time required

these shoes are amazingly comfortable. They are a little hard to get on because of the elastic on both sides but I love them.
