Exactly What I Needed
Considering that I hadn’t had a new pair of carpenter pants since I was in High School (over a decade ago), I was long overdue for some new ones These replaced my old pairs and are frankly better in every way—more pockets, deeper pockets, thicker belt loops, and generally made far sturdier all around. I’ll definitely order these again when I need a few more pairs!

Why stretchy Jean material?
These are definitely not like the ones of old. They are made of stretchy jean material. Liked having these for the side pocket to put phone in and now pocket is so small. Phone won’t even come close to fitting inside. Not real pleased with this product

Pockets and fabric changed for the worse
I used to love these Lee’s carpenter shorts. Not so much anymore. The ruler pocket of my old shorts perfectly fits my cellphone. With the new design, it is way too narrow and thus absolutely useless. The new fabric is also thicker and warmer, far from ideal in 80’s and 90’s degrees weather. I will now continue to wear my old shorts until the holes are getting too big. In the meantime, I hope Lee will learn from their mistake and revert back to the old design and fabric. If not, then I’ll have to find myself some different carpenter shorts that have a ruler pocket large enough to fit my cellphone.

Good quality. I usually wear between 28-30 mens. I got a 29 and they fit as expected. They are a relaxed fit. They are good quality lots of pockets and the colour is accurate.
