Ridiculously comfortable
The company’s motto (printed on the box for these) is “ridiculously comfortable.” I’ve found that they are very comfortable indeed, even if not ridiculously so. I ordered a black/white pair of these in 8.5 as I normally do. I wouldn’t say that these are really black – it’s more of a dark gray with a bluish tinge to it. That doesn’t really bother me, but it’s still something to be aware of if you’re considering these. In terms of fit, my toes have plenty of room to wiggle in the 8.5 size, and the fit is about perfect as far as I’m concerned. Most importantly, they are comfortable. There is a significant thick cushion to the sole that makes these great for walking around in. Perhaps by design, the heel sort of folds down so they may be worn sort of like clogs, something to slip on to take out the trash or run out to the car. If desired, the heel can be popped up and worn as a normal shoe. They are very well ventilated as well, and I’d venture to guess these would work well as vacation shoes for walking about in warmer environments. All told, this is just a great pair of comfortable, casual slip-ons, and I’m glad to have them. Truly five-star product in my view.

Comfy
Reef is a solid brand so I thought I would try these. They do not disappoint. The footbed is indeed comfortable and they actually have more support than the typical Reef sandal. The mesh top is cool enough given that it is a shoe, and the elastic stretches to ensure a good fit. I was a little worried that they would chafe, but I have worn them all day and they have not.The back piece, that you can step on or wear up, is suede like. I don’t usually like to wear the back piece up, except if I am driving. It is easy enough to slip on in the car and was comfortable. I don’t find walking with them up that comfortable, but I didn’t walk enough to tell if the back would chafe, as I revert the back when I am done driving. That is the beauty of this style of slip on for me, I have the carefree mule like fit for walking and to kick off easily but yet the security of a back when driving. The shoes in Olive are really quite good looking, I love that the sole is beige and not black or white. They appear to be solidly constructed. The downside is that they are expensive for this style. I am skeptical that they will last more than one summer for me, so if I can still wear them next year that will be a big bonus and might make the price more reasonable.

Colors do not match product photos
I received these through Amazon vine.I ordered size 9.5 (wear anywhere from 9.5-10.5 depending on the brand), but they ended up being a little on the small side. This is just an FYI for anyone interested.I’ve had serval pairs of Reef shoes before and always like them well enough. These are a bit different, but look well enough made, they have a nice breathable upper and a light foam sole. I’m not sure if they would last me more than a season or two, but seemed like well made shoes. My biggest complaint is the color of the shoes I received does not match the product images. I ordered Tan shoes, the product images show a tan upper and a tan sole. The shoes I received were a very light tan upper and a white sole, really not the look I would have been going for. The price also seemed rather high for what they are, at least to me.

Uppysize x2 yall. Tight fit indeed.
Great shoes but should have listened to reviewers saying to upsize. Amazon strongly recommended 10.5, I purchased 11 and they are still too small and tight. Sending back for refund and have already ordered 11.5 size replacements. So hey everybody uppysize x2!!

Great Slip On Shoes
My husband loves these shoes! They are super comfortable and light. The insoles provide a thick cushion. He says they are perfect to wear on the plane and/or to bring on an overnight trip as an extra pair of lightweight shoes. He’s been wearing them a lot and although they are casual, they look kind of fancy paired with shorts or jeans. The fit is exactly right. Expensive, but worth the cost. Highly recommend you get yourself a pair.
